Land lease and separate addendum to the lease. The additional contract addendum specifies additional rights agreed between the land freeholder and land leaseholder and contains terms such as the right to transfer the land to a freehold title, possession of the land title deed, and payment of the renewal term of the lease, which in essence creates the additional rights of the lessee.

The supplemental agreement is not registered with the Land Office. The Land Department would refuse registration of the underlying lease when these clauses would be included in the primary land lease (because of foreign ownership limitations).
